We fly around the sun super fast! 108000 kilometers per hour! WOW! That's 30km in one second. 83 times faster than the speed of sound. 42 times faster than a bullet from an AK-47. WOW! We are travelling on a high speed spaceship through space! Good, that we don't feel it. But we can notice it! Today while taking pictures in the morning, I notice how fast the shadow moved. Within a few minutes I could see a big difference! There are so many crazy beautiful things around us we don't notice. But when we do, like I in the morning, it's: EXCITING! PS: Acutally we are even faster going through space! The sun is moving through space, too! And we are following. Plus, the galaxy we are in is moving, too. A lot of motion! And we are sitting on the sofa...
Manuel and I know each other since about 10 years. We met through photography. In his spare time he was distributing flyers in downtown Bern. I took a picture of him. He is also a photographer. Since then - always when we met, we had our cameras with us. Except this time. But I had my cell phone and when I saw the silhouette, I asked him to jump for the sake of art. I am so happy about the development of cell phones. You can take good quality pictures everywhere & anytime!
"..forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses." On my lunch walk around my neighboorhood I started laughing seeing that cone. While capturing that moment, the security came and asked why I'm taking a picture. I told him "Take a closer look" It took him a second but he started cracking up as well and took also a picture. I took a picture of him taking a picture, for proof that is not only me. How can you not see that? Imagine what this cone looked like in the late afternoon!
Have you ever tried it? Wow! So easy and effective! Why didn't I listen to all those hippies who tried to convince me? ENLIGHTMENT: In my journey as photographer I have never liked the idea of "self portraits". BUT I know what a big impact photography on my life had. So I want to experience all types of photography and see where the journey leads me next.
..says Salvador Dali, a surreal painter. "By no means will I return to Mexico, I cannot stand being in a country more surrealistic than my paintings." - Salvador Dali likes surreal art. She currently is working on drawing a portrait of Salvador Dali. Diana likes surreal art. She currently is working on drawing a portrait of Salvador Dali. We were talking about why we like surrealism. Because it is not ordinary! It's stimulating for the brain. Also surreal artist don't make art with the thought in mind "how can I sell it to the masses"? They don't care. They love what they do and do not follow rules! Mexico is the place to be if you like surrealism. I love Mexico, a country full of creativity, surrealism, crazy and people with big hearts.
