Red is a symbol for danger but also for love.
Two opposite feelings.
Dina and I were talking photos at different places.
But the one with the red light, was the the spot which fit to her best.
She can look dangerous, intense from the outside.
She is has an attractive personality and big heart on the inside.
You know the saying:
"Not everything is black & white"
Everything is RED.
In your life right now, is there a situation or person - you could see differently than you do?
Montserrat and I have never met before. We know each other from Facebook, having a mutual friend.
Recently I saw a photo of her with a turquoise T-Shirt, my favorite color!
I wrote her, that I want to take pictures of her. JUST DO IT.
She replied: "yes!". JUST DO IT.
It was a fantastic evening!
She is a Veterinarian and I learned a lot about animals and her job.
So much fun!
If you follow your impulses and are open for other people's impulses:
You invite life! New experiences, new thoughts and new friends.
Next time there is an impulse in your life: JUST DO IT!
Manuel and I met 10 years ago.
Back then I had a project taking photos of strangers in the street.
Very close and with a hand held flash.
I was not comfortable doing it, but I pushed myself.
Many people where surprised, some even angry.
Manuel, was one of the people I "shot". He reacted positive and started talking to me.
It turned out that he is also a photographer.
Since then we had many photo and video sessions together.
Even if you don't feel comfortable, you can push yourself!
Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is rewarding!
Until today I did not have a bad experience while leaving the comfort zone.
Quite the opposite! I got more confident and happy.
The suffering is inside your small comfort zone. Not outside.
Next time your voice in your head is holding you back: push yourself, do it.
"Life begins outside of your comfort zone."
"I am too old. It's too late"
Many people say that!
If you believe that, ok. Keep everything as it is. Everything is ok in your life? Then keep on believing it.
If you need some motivation! Be open to the story of "Ray Croc".
He was a sales man most of his life. Average, not very successful.
Until the age of 62, where he met two brothers of a family owned restaurant.
He saw a lot of potential in that business. Roc helped to improve the restaurant with his ideas.
The restaurant got more successful day by day!
Roc wanted to expand and be bigger. But the brothers weren't so enthusiastic about progress.
So Roc Croc went his own way and became the founder of the multibillion company Mc Donald's!
He started to build one of the biggest empires with 62! With almost no money.
It's never too late.
There is also a movie about his story.
If you really interested to improve your life, you will find the name of the movie.
And in the end of the movie, he tells his secret. It's one word.
We all experience it in our personal and business life. Feels bad, right?
It doesn't need to feel bad! IF you change your perception.
When I was living in Los Angeles to study acting, I walked everyday to my school.
On the way there were always homeless people asking me for money.
In the US you can pay everywhere with your card, so I didn't take any cash with me.
When they asked me - I offered them one of my fruits: a banana. Many times.
They said: "NO!" all the time. Some even looked at me angry.
What's wrong with my banana?
A banana is notorious (vitamins & minerals) and makes happy (Tryptophan).
Look at the monkeys how happpy they are!
Should I feel bad if a hungry and unhappy man doesn't want a soloution?
It's the same with other things in life where we experience rejection.
Should we feel bad?
We all have something to offer.
If many don't want your banana, someone will!
Sometimes a homeless accepted the banana with gratiude.
And even if NOBODY wants your banana: Then just enjoy it all by yourself.
If your business idea requieres to distribute bananas, then go where bananas are needed and appreciated.
And if you can't go there, then you have to adapt and give away beer.
Either case, don't feel bad about rejection.
It's not personal.
The rejection says more about the one who rejects, than the one who is rejected.
You know those moments, when you think about someone and then BOOM you get a message!
Do you think it's coincidence?
Psychology has an explantion:
We remember all the times when we got a message/call after we thought about someone.
But we do not remember the many other times when we thought about that person and did not receive a message.
So we think, there is a connection.
That's what psychology says.
I believe most of the time this is true.
But sometimes I think there is more - something which we can't explain, but we can feel it.
On Saturday, out of the blue, I was thinking about a person with a strong positive feeling.
There was no trigger, that could have caused thinking about that person.
Suddendly the thought was there.
And a few minutes after - I received a message. I do not believe in that moment, that it was a coincidence. No way!
On top of that: the sender of the message was in a car and sent me a picture of the rain.
When I received the message, I was in a car, too - with rain. 10.000 kilometers away on another continent.
The only question is, who thought about the other person first. We will never know.
Life is incredible with all its mysteries!
When you have plans, there are many obstacles which slow you down.
Sometimes you stand still or even the circumstances push you back.
BUT every step forward and closer to your goal feels great and gives energy to keep on fighting.
You can achieve anything what you want.
The secret is to believing in it and never even think about giving up.
Many people give up even close to their goal. NO!
Each step forward closer to your goal is a SUCCESS!
"Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must - just never give up."
